Meet the adorable O'Laughlin family. This is a two part session; the first part we met at the Arch grounds and took advantage of that pretty golden sunset light. The second part took place on an overcast day in Forest Park. Twins Connor and Logan were so adorable and I think they actually had fun getting their pictures taken :) Pretty little Emma loved sitting with her Aunt Jenny. Enjoy!
I'm still catching up on my blogging and realized I never posted baby Alexander's full session (remember his sneak peek from this summer?) Back in February, I did maternity photos of Lisa and Alex when he was still just a baby belly. I knew he was going to be super cute with such a photogenic mom (Lisa and I have been friends for a few years, so she's had plenty of time in front of my camera.) Lisa opted to wait for his baby pictures until he could hold his head up and give the camera a good smile (it's always a good idea to have a friend or family member present when photographing babies and young children, so they have a face to recognize and giggle at!) Anyways, he's incredibly adorable, I know I'll be looking forward to doing this little guy's senior pictures... in 18 years :)

Read more...Carolyn and Will tied the knot on a sunny, warm day in June. This was my second time photographing one of the Soke sisters weddings and it was definitely a blast! The bright pink colors they chose contrasted perfectly with the greens of summer (give us the greens of summer, makes you think all the world's a sunny day, oh, yeah!) You'll notice in some of the photos that the wedding party has those hand held water bottle fans - all my idea! I definitely recommend them for all summer weddings. Since it was so humid out, we didn't have a ton of time for portraits at Forest Park, but I did sneak outside with the couple to do a few gorgeous photographs at sunset at the Sunset Country Club. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Skowyra!
